I bought some pants that were a bit long. My mom tells me she can fix them, that when she was young she took sewing courses and was very good at the art of sewing, and since she is my mother, I agreed. She took measurements and cut them. When I tried them, they were a bit short. I said "Look, what you did." And she answered, "Don’t be silly LuisCarlos, is not that big of a deal. Michael Jackson used to wear them that way, and his pants were very expensive. You should be thankful.”
Compre unos pantalones y me quedaron un poco largos. Mi mama me dice que ella me los arregla, que cuando era joven tomo cursos de costura y que estaba bien pesada para el arte de la costura, y como es mi madre, me deje llevar. Me tomo medidas y les metió tijera. A la hora de probármelos, me quedaron un poco cortos. Y le dije “Mira, ve como me quedaron.” Y me contesta, “No seas simple LuisCarlos, no es para tanto. Es mas así los usaba Michael Jackson y esos pantalones si que son caros. Las gracias me deberías de dar.
